Construction Details:

I had been in love with a picture of Michiru and Haruka from this episode for the longest time, but a kimono is really one of those things I didn't think I'd ever be able to make to my liking. My great friend Kikiama was on a trip to Japan and being a fellow Neptune found this gorgeous kimono that looked a lot like Michirus! The awesome Blueeyesdante let me borrow her obi and all the little accessories so that I was wearing everything properly. Man there are a lot of pieces that go into this outfit that you'll never see! It took about a half an hour to get me dressed.

Personal Thoughts:

I can't get enough Michiru! This one always stuck out in my mind as one I wanted to do because she seemed so grown up and lady like. It was truly a dream cosplay since all the piece were brough to to me from Japan by my friends!

Styling Notes

Loosen curls and brought them down to one side. Secured into a side ponytail and added traditional hair ornament.
