Construction Details:

Skirt is 3/4 circle skirt of heavy jersey with sparkles on the inside for an occasional flash of ~magic~ while I move around.
Shirt is a black tee that I hand-stenciled with fabric paint.
Armsocks are made with tights and fake nails. I patterned the hand shapes myself, sewed it primarily by machine (with some handstitching for cleanup), painted the nails, glued them on, and shortened the sleeves so they wouldn't have quite so much excess fabric at the elbows and wrists.
Horns are expanding foam covered in foil and then paperclay, textured with a variety of small pointed objects, painted brown, and then painted again for the yellow-orange gradient. They attach through the wefts of my wig with snaps.
The wands are model magic over a wood and wire armature, then painted and matte sealed. I painted the spirals on with interference violet, and tipped each wand with a rhinestone.
Makeup is snazaroo for grey, with assorted regular makeup for everything else.

Personal Thoughts:

I love wearing this costume SO MUCH, everyone had such nice comments at the con where I debuted it!
