About this Costume
- Construction Details:
-
I learned many new things in the course of making this costume, I taught myself how to make Kanzashi, I studied the construction of traditional Korean Hanbok, & imperial hanbok, which I then based my design after. I spent nearly 3 months searching for just the perfect tibetan Brass Bells.
Grand total this costume is made up of 42 yards of fabric on my less than 5 ft tall frame, quite simply it dwarfs me. there is also 60 yards of hand made gold bias tape. - Personal Thoughts:
- This has honestly been one of the most challenging costumes I've ever done, It's so filled with emotions.

This costume is Dedicated in loving memory to My grandmother, Genevieve J. Pullum, Dec 11, 1927 - Aug 22, 2015 and her search for her own memories through her battle with Alzheimer's. She passed on before getting to see the costume completed.
