Construction Details:

I started off with making the top part of the dress itself and then I made the sleeves. The sleeves are puff sleeves and I hand sewed the white ribbon around the cuff part. I also hand sewed the neckline down so it didn't look rough.
For the skirt piece, I ended up not getting enough fabric but I was on a time crunch so I made due with what I had. I made the stripes at the bottom of the skirt with a lighter color of the same fabric the dress was made from, and sewed them on with a machine. I tried to pleat as much of the skirt as I could, but alas...
I attached the skirt to the bodice and attached a zipper to the top of the bodice to take it off easier.
The backpack is a Victoria Secret Pink backpack that I scored for pretty cheap on eBay and altered the crap out of it. I ordered a big white teddy bear and a bunch of little white ones on eBay as well, painted their eyes red, and attached them to the backpacks by sewing them. The big bear needed a little more stability, so I just used safety pins.
The vest is a mens vest I bought on eBay and altered the best I could to fit me but I still have to roll it.
The leg warmers is a sweater I got on eBay that I cut up to and made into leg warmers.
The white under shirt is a button up shirt I had already.
I made a fire ball out of a styrofoam ball that my dad put lights in and I covered in fur and painted using the oil paint Sharpies.

Personal Thoughts:

I totally messed up on the skirt, which was supposed to be more pleated. I really wasn't happy with how it turned out, but I didn't buy enough fabric and I was short on time.
Other than that though, I really liked how she turned out. It was my first time making puff sleeves and it was adorable.

** I was wearing a wig but I bought it for cheap on eBay and styled it myself.
