Construction Details:

Made from costume satin and modina clay. I reused my old rose bride pattern from 10 years ago!

Personal Thoughts:

This is my second time doing a rose bride character, the first was Anthy many years ago (my first cosplay costume!) but I wanted to revisit the series and make the Utena version of the same dress for memories sake...plus i just love big poofy dresses! My only regret is that I could not find the proper wig in time for the event so I had to barrow a Macross wig from my friend. If I wear this again I will get the proper wig and maybe add a few more layers of satin to the dress.
