About this Costume
- Construction Details:
-
Headdress- made from epoxy sculpt, craft foam, paperclay, and hairclips. Painted with rub ‘n buff. Accented with a silver chain, hand painted beads, and resin gem I casted myself.
rn
rnNecklace- Primarily worbla and craftfoam. Chain and choker fashioned with plastic jump rings and a resistance band.
rn
rnAnklet, bracers, arm band- craft foam covered in gold spandex.
rn
rnBangles- paperclay and craft foam
rn
rnOther arm accessories- Styrene, craftfoam, epoxy sculpt, resin gems.
rn
rnBelts- Ornaments are sculpted from craft foam and model magic, covered in worbla. Gem is half a Christmas ornament. Belts are made with vinyl upholstery fabric.
rn
rnStocking- white stocking was purchased. I added the frilly detail at the top using satin and craft foam.
rn
rnShoes- Purchase a base pair or shoes and added the vinyl strapping. Both shoe and strapping are painted with acrylic leather paint.
rn
rnStaff- made from a base of a wooden dowel, insulation foam, and disposable cups. Covered in styrene, paperclay, and epoxy sculpt. Gems are resin cast and globe at the top is a clear acrylic Christmas ornament painted with glass paint.
rn
rnShield- Base of paper mache, EVA foam and craftfoam. Ornamentation includes worbla, resistance banding, vinyl, and a rope.
rn
rnDress- Started with a pattern marketed as an Elsa dress and modified it.
rn - Personal Thoughts:
- This one was a long one in the making! Still some things I'd like to tweak on it but I'm mostly happy with it!
Wig Details
- Wig Review
- REALLY easy to tangle because it's so long and thick.
