Construction Details:

Bought Black/Gray Ponte di Roma Houndstooth fabric from Fabric.com. Using many online pleated skirt tutorials as a reference, I made 2 inch knife pleats with a 2 inch waist band and added an invisible zipper and hooks and eyes to close the skirt. For the jacket, I used gabardine polyester fabric for the green features, yellow bias tape, and a grey zipper. I used the jacket E Butterick B5400 pattern as a base but added cuffs, a jacket hem, and a yolk. I also tried to bring in the waist a bit and make the shoulders slimmer so that the jacket had a smaller fit. Since I bought a 26" separating zipper, I shortened the zipper to 21" and added metal zipper stops before attaching it to the jacket. I bought the pins off of Etsy and the wig off of Ebay. I also trimmed the wig about 4-5 inches for more of a bob style. I also bought the socks from Amazon. I definitely want to fix a few things if I end up remaking the jacket. Probably not use bias tape for the yellow strips and actually add pockets.

Personal Thoughts:

Absolutely love Persona 4 and Chie is best girl. I was very excited to take this cosplay on along with my friends for a huge Persona group. As a note, this was my first sewing project ever. D:
