About this Costume
- Construction Details:
-
The forehead gem was resin cast by my friend Envel. She also made my ears and earrings for me. The ring was purchased off of Etsy.
rn
rnThe tutu is made from five different types of tulle (black and purple sparkle, black and purple matte, black petticoat netting), and is made in the form of a no-sew to give it that extra poof at the waistband and then cut/torn into shape at the bottom.
rn
rnThe bodysuit was the hardest part. First time working with knits here! I used Yaya Han's new bodysuit pattern and didn't make a lot of adjustments to it except for the fit because I wasn't really sure what I was doing fabric-wise. I drew all the lines on (with my husband's help) using heat-set fabric markers.
rn
rnThe shoes were once plain purple pumps that I covered in glitter and modge podge and then made the extra pieces out of craft foam.
rn
rnThe silver crystal is from my friend, LadyLunaofLight. - Personal Thoughts:
- It's my first time being a bad guy. I realized I'm not very good at making evil faces despite struggling with RBF all the time. ;~;
Wig Details
- Styling Notes
- Base wig not styled. One pack of long wefts used to create the ears. Envel cut and shaped two styrofoam hearts and then added the wefts. I added the ears to a headband.
