Construction Details:

Everything is craft foam! Everything is great when you have no money 8D
The shield and sword were made by a friend of mine, both out of foamboard. The leotard underneath was made out of spandex and dyed purple-black, and the light purple belt strips were made from suede! Everything was held together via elastic and velcro, so it fell apart a lot.

Personal Thoughts:

Wow this costume. My first armor cosplay and what a pain it was! I had no idea what I was doing, half the time I kept referring back to Yuurisans' cosplay for clues on how to make this and that. I 'm glad I did it though, Lightning is very dear to me and this armor was just so beautiful!
