Construction Details:

The first skirt I sewed! My sister helped with the zipper and waistband. The skirt pattern was simplicity's poodle skirt pattern. The Vaporeon pieces are made of felt and are ironed on to each other by making "tape" with interface and are reinforced with sewing. I hand sewed the Vaporeon onto the skirt. rnThe Vaporeon ears were made out of foam. I followed this tutorial to make them: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ytv6nbhhhPE I then hot glued them onto a wide headband.rnrnThe tail was made and patterned by me. I looked at a plush of Vaporeon I had to get the pattern idea. I really like my tail. I made waist hoops and looped it onto my belt.

Personal Thoughts:

This costume is part of a 1950's Eeveelution group. It was so fun!!
