Construction Details:

I bought a sweater from ebay. rnMISSION: Make this THE most obnoxious ass sweater ever. I hand painted the cat on some scrap flannel from staring at the screencap for reference. The eyes glow in the dark! After painting, I painstakingly sewed it onto the sweater by hand, along with each shiny letter, which are cut from the same flannel that the cat is painted on and covered with lame or something. Finally, I bought a short string of battery powered LED lights from Michaels and stuck each bulb sporadically around the cat face through the cable-knit of the sweater. I sewed a pocket onto the inside of the sweater to hold the battery pack. MISSION COMPLETE.

The skirt is some denim I bought in Joanns, lined with some scrap cotton I had on hand already. The headband is made using the same denim as the skirt and ties around my sister's head with ribbon.

Personal Thoughts:

My sister and I are Mabel and Dipper Pines, respectively.

Styling Notes

I straightened most of the wig except for the bottom, to get Mabel's cloud-like poof towards the end of her hair. It looked amazing, but after several wears, the more the poof kind of deflated from having to detangle the wig so much :( She'll have to get a new one next time we wear the twins~
