Construction Details:

I made all my own patterns for this costume. The tail is made with faux fur and wire, and batting for thickness. The vest and the pants are a cotton blend, and a knit was used for the white undershirt. Boots were bought and then painted and modified. I used layers of lace trim used for the cravat. My wig was bought from Epic cosplay and cut and styled by me. The gloves/cuffs were also made from a cotton blend, and were lined with 2 layers of interfacing to make them gravity defying. The trim was sewn into the gloves. My mage mashers were made from ply wood, and wood filler to add dimension. They were sanded down to be smooth. The paint was mixed together to get the proper color, and the designs on the blades were made from a cast which I filled with hot glue, and then attached and painted them.
