Construction Details:

This is mostly stretch sateen and poplin and was overall a pretty easy costume. The red skirt is interfaced with several layers of tulle to make it stiffer and poofier without using a petticoat (since it's very clear in the picture that she isn't wearing one). This was kind of a pain in the ass, but I got the effect I wanted! The purple trim on the top (all applique) and the tremendous ruffle on the red skirt are my favorite parts.

Personal Thoughts:

Every year, I look at my cosplay wardrobe and think, "hmm, needs more Holo." This costume makes the hat-trick.

Wig Review

I'm usually so happy with Arda's stuff, I can't help but think that this wig has been a bit of a lemon. It's one of the most tangly wigs I own and it's nearly impossible to keep it looking nice. I'm working on replacing it for my next round of Holo cosplay.
