Construction Details:

I used Sparklepipsi's, Cupcake Cosplay's, and Artemis Moon Cosplay's tutorials on how to make a sailor scout uniform to create mine. Skirt, fuku, choker, and bow fabric is duchess satin and the leotard is a white spandex blend, with the lining of the armor being fleece.



The skirt is a large circle skirt with a 2.5 inch box pleat in the front and 2 inch knife pleats on the sides, with an inverted box pleat in the back. Hem is serged.



Fuku is two layers of duchess satin sewn together and ironed.



The leotard was made using the Green Pepper skating pattern with some alterations, such as sharpening the neck and leg lines and taking it in at the waist. Entire leotard is serged.



Armor is created with the same Green Pepper pattern. Top layer is the spandex, lining is fleece to make the armor pop. Sleeves are one piece and consist of fleece layered in-between spandex. Hip roll is spandex with batting.



Glove rolls are made of fleece layered in-between duchess satin. Choker is a serged tube of duchess satin with Neptune's charm sewn in the middle, complete with two sets of clasps.



Tiara and neck gem were purchased from Catzia Collectibles.

Gloves purchased at Jo Ann Fabrics.

Shoes purchased at the thrift store.

Personal Thoughts:

I was rushed to make this costume so it's not entirely to my liking. I plan on tearing it all apart and sewing parts back together, and entirely remaking others.

I really love the wig! It's great quality and stood being in the pool.
