About this Costume

My headband was just a satin headband with gems I painted and glued on for a design I came up with (since none of her references do a very good job of showing her headband). My capelet is made of thin knit lined with sweater fleece and scallop trim on the neck. It closes with hooks in the front. My brooch is cast out of resin with a mix of blue, silver, and white glitter in it on a craft foam base. My dress is made of off-white bottomweight fabric. I used gold grommets and suede cording for the lacing in front. The trim along the bottom is faux black fur. Since I was lazy and didn't make a mock-up, my dress initially had too small of a skirt for my liking, so I had sewn in an extra panel in the back to give it a better shape. I wear a black petticoat underneath to give it volume. My sleeves are attached to a shirt I wear under the dress and are made of gray suiting. My gloves and bootcovers are both made of black pleather. I made the pompoms on my boots out of faux fur as well.
ALA 2016 Edit:
My staff was also nicknamed the poostick, it was so poorly made due to a time crunch + laziness. I also had a lot of freedom with the design considering the only references are the game sprite or an inch tall sketch in the artbook. The staff is a wooden dowel with a thin sintra (could have easily been cardboard though) frame in glued to the top, filled out with spray foam, covered in tape, covered in tons of glue. This was really, really poorly done. I then cut out a bunch of craft foam feather-scales things, glued them on strategically on the staff head. I texturized the wooden dowel with hot glue and acrylic latex caulk. The paint job took me an hour; I was sitting on the floor trying to paint it as fast as I physically could.
I had Wrecked my bootcovers from wearing Agnes the first time, so I just borrowed a friend's boots for rewearing her this time (I had safety pinned the pompoms on). I also lost my headband, so I just wore a random black headband I bought. - Personal Thoughts:
- I love BD so much I'm so glad I got to cos it with my group! Agnes is my angel and though I love all 4 main characters evenly, I've always wanted to cosplay her! I love her design and I feel so cute as her, cosplaying Agnes was a dream come true, especially with my squad.
Wig Details
- Wig Brand
- Arda Wigs
- Wig Name
- Le Tigre Long
- Original Color:
- Dark Brown
- Wig Quality Rating
- 4 / 5.00
- Styling Notes
- This wig was originally very long and very thick. I however, wanted it even thicker. I satisfied this need by chopping up a cheap old brown wig I had and sewing it into this wig, resulting in a doubly thick wig.
