Construction Details:

Since the Smiles seem "sportier" I used a heavier cotton fabric, which also helped hold the pleats in the skirt. The outfit itself was pretty straight-forward, although the wide neck makes it difficult to keep the shoulders on (note to self: bring double-sided tape next time!!!).rnrnThe hardest part was the wig, which was a battle to get the giant bun to not look like a rat's nest.rnrnSlight WIP; still some things I want to fix!

Personal Thoughts:

This was such a fun project!!! It was my first time being part of a big cosplay group/gathering, and it made it all the better!

Wig Review

The Luthien was my Plan B. My original wig + extensions were stolen (yay!), so I had to make do with what was in stock and within my budget, I snipped off the curly bottom half of the Luthien and used those fibers for the bun.
