Construction Details:

Bought a white bandeau swimsuit top and bottoms from eBay and modified the bandeau top so it fit me a little better. The top's center metal ring was taken out, sprayed gold, and sewn back into the top. The silk fabrics were draped through the openings on the side of the swimsuit bottoms and pulled up into the bandeau top and were then stitched down. The ends of the front loincloth area were stitched around the side openings of the swimsuit bottom and a longer piece was sewn to be the fabric between my legs. The wrist and ankles jewelry were gold stretch vinyl with a crapton of gold trim sewn on top of it. The flowers on the headband were originally white, and were painted over. The golden pineapple(?) things on the side of her head were made of craft foam, Mod Podge, and some trim on the sides. All the pieces were sewn onto a headband that had more gold vinyl and trim sewn around it.

Personal Thoughts:

I feel so pretty in this cosplay~ I think I spent more on trim than the actual fabric of the cosplay! I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to pull off the outfit because I haven't really been on top of my GAINS GOALS but I decided to treat this as a "now or never" outfit so... there ya go. 8D; I walked around the con with the long skirt train wrapped around me like a toga so it looked like I wasn't wearing anything, aiyaa ^^;;
