Construction Details:

Mixed fabrics (cotton, poly-cotton). Traditional Japanese patterns/techniques were used for everything except the vest, which I drafted separately.

rnThe sword is all one piece (does not come out) and is made with high-density insulation foam coated in Bondo with a thin metal core for strength. It's over five feet long, but very light!

Personal Thoughts:

My first "real" crossplay for a group cosplay at Anime Expo 2015! While there are things I would like to tweak before the next convention, I'm overall quite happy with how everything came together.

Styling Notes

Cut the ponytail wefts down to make it thinner and lighter, and added wefts to the front for the long bangs.

Wig Review

I got the new small size, which was great. It fits perfectly without sewing.
