Construction Details:

The dress is made from raw silk shantung, with vintage bridal lace appliques hand-stitched on. It is fully lined in crepe back satin. The ribbons on the socks and in the wig were handmade from the same silk as the dress. The black shorts underneath were also handmade. The sash was custom made from a beautiful cross-themed brocade with trims and fringe hand-stitched in place. The shoes were custom-painted to match the sash, then the buckles were stitched on. The gloves are the only not hand-made/unaltered piece of the costume.

Personal Thoughts:

I love the aesthetic of Castlevania and the opportunity it gives to use lush materials. I think this is my favorite of my recent cosplay endeavors!
