Construction Details:

The pattern was altered from a simple girl's dress pattern that my mom helped me construct. My dad actually thought to make the shackles out of PVC pipe and wrapped in electrical tape. The wings are simply cardboard, painted, and added a faux boa trim that velcro to my dress. The metal rings are painted and sewn directly onto the dress. Under the apron hides a secret pocket for my valuables!

Personal Thoughts:

This is by far my favorite cosplay ever done. It was my second one, so the use the satin was an unfortunate rookie mistake. I did rewear it again a few years later with some improved styling, but if I were to make it again, I would have definitely gone with faux vinyl!
