Construction Details:

I actually bought a pattern for this one. I was on a time crunch and its a relatively simple dress so it worked out. I love the dress. Its made with chiffon, silk, and a cotton silk blend. I added jewels to the moons to kind of give the outfit more detail. I also added hair ornaments I know she doesn't have.....but I wanted them because the wig just looked too plain. Its my costume so i spruced it up a bit. With the manga-ka's love of fashion, I thought it wouldn't be entirely inappropriate.

Personal Thoughts:

Its amazing how many people think I was Serena in this costume- and I was really okay with it. Moon Mama has always been my absolute favorite. But I have a habit of liking the tragic characters.
