Personal Thoughts:

I love this costume. Sailor Moon was what got me into anime. I would stay up late as a child, waiting for the new episode, wishing that someday I'd become a sailor senshi. My friends and I used to play on the playground as the sailor scouts- and all of my friends ALWAYS wanted to be Sailor Venus. I always played as Sailor Moon, so when it came to cosplay- it was pretty fun to finally be able to be Venus for once. She's the Sailor Scout of Love and Beauty, it was so much fun to channel that when it came to posing for photos. Eventually I'll cosplay all of the sailor scouts, but for my first Sailor Scout, I'm glad it was Venus.

Styling Notes

Straightened the wig with a flat iron, then I trimmed the bangs to eyebrow level. With Got2b and gel, I spiked the front of the bangs and teased to give it that classic Sailor Moon big bang lift.
