Construction Details:

Total time to complete whole cosplay outfit: 2 months.

Belt is vinyl that I found at Joann's fabric. Belt buckle is made out of sintra.
Leotard, gloves, and shoe covers are made out of stretch lycra. I wanted to use a purple that, in some lighting looks black/purple. My sleeves and skirt is made out of poly cotton. All of my bias tape was made from scratch.

It was my first time making bias tape from scratch, leotard, gloves, and shoe covers.

The breast plate is made out of EVA foam. The sword is a wood. The wood was made of 1/2" poplar board cut with a jigsaw. The bevels were done by hand using a set of rasps, files, and sand paper. The detail pieces were made with Sintra. The whole thing was primed using Rustoleum filler primer, sanded and painted. The clear coat was just a Rustoleum gloss clear that we wet sanded and polished.

Personal Thoughts:

This was my first action character cosplay!
