Construction Details:

Everything is made from scratch.

Fuku is made with two layers of spandex--one layer of peach skin and one white. I love the sheen of this spandex. Bows are cotton, collar and skirt are satin. Shoes are 2-way stretch vinyl.

The tiara is made with wonderflex and lots of gesso.

Garnet Rod was crafted by the wonderful Christopher Singh, AKA chippopotamus222 on Instagram. The staff section is PVC pipe and all other pieces are wood. The rod breaks into two pieces for easy transport.

Personal Thoughts:

Sailor Pluto was never a favorite senshi of mine until I created this cosplay. I resonate so well with her isolation and maternal nature. Also, we are both stinkin' tall.
