Construction Details:

It took 45 hours to make. The slip is made of tulle. The dress is two pieces- a camisole and a circle skirt and is made out of a silky solid. I finished the edges with bias tape. The bow is silk over craft foam. The shawl has sleeves so it won't fall off. The anklets and armlets are wire I bent and the music note necklace to a flat wire that I twisted into shape.

Personal Thoughts:

This costume was a huge learning experience. I put special focus on craftsmanship and making everything myself. I'm happy with the result.
