Construction Details:

This dress shows up in like, all of 3 chapters of the manga and isn't colored, so it was really fun to do my own interpretation of it :>

The lavender fabric is Casa satin, the blue is a cotton blend satin, and the white is shimmer lawn.

The base of the blazer was modified off of Simplicity 1300, with the collar and shirt panel drafted by hand. The bustle pieces are attached to the blazer for simplicity of getting into everything, and the front piece and blazer close with snap tape.

I reused my hoop skirt from Yase, but made a 3-layer tulle petticoat to go between the hoop and cotton petti, which definitely helped hide the lines.

Styling Notes

Took down the ponytail and soaked the wig in fabric softener to help diminish the inevitable tangling, and then re-did the ponytail. Trimmed the clip, bangs, and shoulder bits.

Wig Review

Absolutely gorgeous color, and really nice wig. The shoulder bits keep shedding, but that's the nature of long wigs.
