Construction Details:

This cosplay was almost completely pulled from my closet. The dress is an old red Lolita dress that I had begun altering in the sleeves but never finished. I had debated cutting it off to make a high-waisted skirt, but now I'm really glad I didn't. lol After deciding to try cosplaying Ellen, I pulled the dress out of my closet and finally fixed the straps on it. I also made the hair bow out of matching fabric, though I might make a better one later on. The shirt I already had too, as well as the shoes and stockings. The only thing I was missing was a wig, which I was able to afford about a week before EvilleCon. ^-^ Luckily it only took 3 days to arrive. I wore it Saturday at Eville and I was amazed at how many people actually recognized me! ♥
