About this Costume
- Construction Details:
-
I used the McCall's M6817 pattern. Mostly just straight forward sewing and gathering, but I referred to the pattern instructions a lot when it came to the sleeves. I made the first version out of dark green velour and ivory kona cotton. I doubled the fabric for most of the ivory pieces. This costume is not lined, and thank god it isn't because it's extremely warm. I will be making another version out of cotton for warmer weather events.
- Personal Thoughts:
- This costume was the biggest pain to sew. And guess what! I'm making this costume a second time for warmer weather princess performing events. At least it makes it worth it seeing kids get all excited to see a Disney princess.
