Construction Details:

The dress is made in a denim using McCalls #6028 with a lot of fitting. I used the same pattern for my Warrior/Ghost Princess so it came together very quickly. I taped off the chest design with painters tape and went to town while watching Captain America 2. In retrospect, I probably should have used wax paper to make a template rather than just tape.

Personal Thoughts:

I knew that I was going to be sitting in quite a few lines and panels during Emerald City Comic Con 2015 but I also wanted an outfit to wear in photos with some of the celebrity guests. Cap is my favorite of the MCU Avengers and I've seen several very cute dresses people have made based on his outfits so I thought I'd have my own go at it!
