Construction Details:

I did literally everything I could to make this process easier, and it was still a small slice of hell. Anything solid was wonderflex or paper clay with a wonderflex base. I finished the cape in the hotel room, and the eyes on the back are dark t-shirt transfer paper that I put a layer of gold paint over. I made the pigtails myself and sewed them into the wig the morning I wore this. I still get chills when I think about the gauntlet I ran to finish this monster in the short amount of time I had. Not perfect, but I had so much fun wearing it so I'm happy!

Personal Thoughts:

All Tharja cosplayers are connected through the mutually traumatic experience of making this costume. Oh my GOD.
