About this Costume
Construction Details:
Copy/pasting from my fb page...

Helmet: Eva foam mat base with insulation foam horns.

Shoulders: Eva foam mat base with insulation foam horns. Shields are craft foam covered in polystyrene sheet plastic.
Breast plate and lower leg armor: Craft foam covered in worbla.rnrnBow (Etrayu): Insulation foam and stretch cording.

Everything else (arms, thighs, knees, gauntlets, belts): craft foam covered in polystyrene sheets!

Conclusion: I use a ton of different techniques to make stuff! I usually base my decisions on how thin, heavy, or flexible a piece is needs to be in its final form. I made Cherche entirely out of craft foam and polystyrene, but the curves of the Demon Hunter armor made worbla a better choice. I used polystyrene where I could since it is so cheap and lightweight (and as a result incredibly easy to attach with velcro). There is a zipper on the back of each lower leg piece which let's me slip it on and off.
Personal Thoughts:
The demon hunter was the most ambitious costume I have attempted thus far... it took four months of work to complete. I absolutely love the gameplay and designs. Can't wait to work on more armor >;D
