Construction Details:

This was my first time making this much armor. All the armor is made from various thicknesses of EVA foam with the chest and pauldrons are covered in Worbla. Every piece was spray painted with a base coat and then hand painted for details and weathering.

The wings were made from PVC pipe, EVA and plastic tubing with cellophane inside.

Personal Thoughts:

I have loved the Diablo series since I played the original on my older brother's PC in 1996. I was enthralled at Tyrael's wings in Diablo 2 and have wanted to cosplay an arhcangel from that game since. While playing Diablo 3, I came across Archangel Auriel and I knew I wanted to cosplay her with some of my own twists on the outfit.
