Personal Thoughts:

I’ve had this costume on my todo list for a long time. I even had the wig sitting in my garage for probably at least 3 years, yikes! I love this style of dress though, the cute more Western apron over a kimono and I love kitsune and sakura. I thought the series was very cute and really had to do it. Glad to finally complete Zakuro!

The kimono fabric was custom printed on spoonflower ( http://www.spoonflower.com/fabric/2335258 ) with a design that I drew based on closeup images. It’s a very specific version of the classic Japanese asanoha pattern.
