Construction Details:

What really made the costume hard was the wig. The rest wasn't so bad. I had the pants and the shoes already, I bought the corset from alt-noir (though I don't recommend them at all. The corset is fine but customer service is terrible) I just had to make the spats (always fun) and the jacket. It's an old Vogue trench pattern shortened and shaped for Neo. Found a nice brocade satin to line it with.

Personal Thoughts:

Currently just a work in progress. It's going to be for ACen 2015. Making good progress so far. Just done a couple of dumb things. And made a couple blood sacrifices to the cosplay gods.

Styling Notes

From previous wig: Wow, I have never done so much to a wig before. A friend of mine put in the white since I don't know much about actually sewing wefts into hair. I dislike sharpie dye so I read up on the acrylic ink method. <br /> <br /> 8 droppers of FW Acrylic Artist ink to 1 cup of 70% rubbing alcohol. Spray carefully. I've dyed and rinsed a couple times.

Wig Review

I like Epic Cosplay's wigs a lot. I'll still use cheaper wigs from eBay but I trust their wigs to stand up to some harsher treatment on more difficult styles.
