Construction Details:

I started this costume by making the tube top and bikini bottoms out of some leftover black ponte roma knit. I then made her scarf thing out of white and black fleece. It is just a basic circle with an extra long piece of fleece stitched into it. rnrnI made mock-ups of the pant things, which are safety pinned to the bikini bottoms and are just long enough to fit inside the boots. The belt is a layer of foamies, quilting batting, and suede-like upholstery fabric. The buckle is made of fimo and square purse findings, with foamies on top that are cut and painted to look like her Teigu. rnrnThe sleeves are two pieces, the white part has a band of elastic at the top and it is tucked into the cuffs. The cuffs are made of foamies covered in metallic 4-way stretch spandex applied using contact adhesive (this is very important, no other glue will work). The cuffs have a bit of room to stretch, so there is not an actual closure system, they just slide on my arm. rnrnThe boots were purchased on clearance (yay) from target and I double-sided-taped the fringe on so as not to limit them to cosplay-only use. rnrnAll of the fur parts were hand sewn by me! I enjoy hand sewing faux fur and the result is always wonderful. The black claws were made out of fimo and attached with E-6000. rnrnAll I had to do to the wig was cut and style bangs into it, which didn't take very long at all.
