Construction Details:

Another dress with redundant zipper, as the buttons on "blouse" open up enuff to let me out (not even all the buttons function either!) Also that front panel was legit cut up from an old blouse, with orig darts removed & pintucks/new collar added

Full packet of yellow bias tape makes up the stripes of the neck-ribbon & sleeves, with the "jewel" salvaged from tacky earrings. Didn't have interfacing thus the big bow of apron is starched within an inch of its life instead. Apron pockets also a rare functional pocket in a costume!

Hemming what felt like miles of a circle skirt, then having to do it again for the ruffle must be worth at least 4levels of EXP!

Personal Thoughts:

Made this specifically for Aniplex events, and have been hella lucky they keep choosing me for it too!

The "anime proportions" drive me up the wall.. like, in art her skirt is long enuff (compare where her arms are at her side), but then there's a garter on her thigh?? and knees still a mile below that? And the bust "contrast" is still so high above the waist? uhhh, I quit!

After wearing it ONCE and realizing the garter was completely hidden by skirt... bought a shorter petticoat & completely rehemmed the skirt a few inches shorter

Wig Review

the wig is just so delightfully soft!! luuuuv it

It's also cursed as it rains each time step outdoors. Every. Single. Time (poor thing can't stay styled for more than an hour)
