Construction Details:

red cloak - bottomweight twill outside, cotton lining. applique is muslin leftover from Alibaba and satin stitched.
tan hooded cloak - went with a desert-y looking striped fabric just to make the costume look more interesting rather than another solid block of color. french-seamed on the inside.
shenti/wrap skirt & belt - linen
shoes - purchased and tea-dyed
anklets - empty masking tape rolls smoothed out with spackle and painted
diadhank - Bekalou had made these kits for myself and our Priest Seto with all base wood pieces and the metal bracer, assembly and paint job was done by the individual. raised edges are foamie, bracer is lined in foamie to make it more snug. The wings can actually fold down and stay folded out with the help of super strong magnets.
wig - my old Ragna wig (yay for recycling)

Personal Thoughts:

I've had this on my to-do list for over 2 years and I finally got around to doing it with some "encouragement" from my friends who had finished their Millennium World costumes. I am super proud of how it turned out and I had a ton of fun entering AOD's masquerade with Bekalou and Frowne. I still find it amusing that out of all the costumes I've done so far, its a Yugioh one that got me a craftmanship award lol
