Construction Details:

Other than a couple pieces, all parts of this costume is the same from its original 2011 incarnation.rnThe vest was made completely by me. Blouse was bought from fanplusfriend, though I requested them to make the sleeves a few inches longer to be more accurate to the reference images. Pants, suspenders, socks, cat ears and tail, shoes, and gloves were all bought. Glasses are my actual glasses haaaa~ Glasses chain was made. Grell's signature pointy teeth are fake nails, cut to points and stuck on my actual teeth with denture glue.rnrnThe shoes, gloves, kitty parts, and glasses have all been upgraded since 2011. The wig is the main difference. I used to go for a slightly curled wig because I thought it would have been cute. When I brought the costume back, I decided to go for the longer, straight, more screen accurate wig~rnrnThe chainsaw is a toy prop for a Texas Chainsaw Massacre Halloween costume. In 2011, I simply just spray painted it red. For the reboot, I wanted to make it a little more accurate, so I used the toy as a base and build onto it. I glued styrofoam blocks around it to make the body, then covered it in craft foam and painted it.

Personal Thoughts:

My psycho queen~I first made this costume back in 2011, during Kuroshitsuji's hay day. Four years later, I decided to bring it back after watching the new anime. I LOVE being Grell~ It's surprisingly really easy for me to fall into her character~
