Construction Details:

Pretty straightforward. Same pattern as her red/black robes & her white robes. It took forever to find the right fabric though. The skirt & rest of it was easy enough. I upgraded her belt by covering my old one in worbla to give it more strength & adding lacing to the back of it instead of the hook & clasps I'd been using for 7 years.

Personal Thoughts:

I never really intended to sew the blue robes that she wears for one scene in the movie, during the fight with the Forest God, but when my friend Danny T passed away, I wanted to do something personal to express the loss I felt & to commemorate our memories together. He was the Hellboy to my Princess Nuala & I knew I had to make the only other costume of Nuala's from the movie I hadn't sewn.
