Construction Details:

Dress is a cute aqua blue sateen, PERFECT for Eli's image color. The pattern was based off of a New Look pattern I had sitting around. I tweaked it a bit to get the fit I wanted. I lowered the neckline and pulled in the skirt a bit. rnThe furs are mostly minky. Trim/cuffs are a Sherminky goat, the bolero and hat base are a double sided minky, and the tail is the sherminky. All of these furs are ivory/cream. White tends to be a bit too much so I like to tone them down a bit. The belt/suspenders were a pain! BUT!! I was lucky enough my friend Khundy knows how to digitize embroidery files, so he cooked up the designs for me and I made use of my mom's embroidery machine to make them! Finding tapestry/jacquard ribbon anywhere close to te designs I needed was next to impossible. I'm so happy with how they came out! All in all, a very simple, cute, fluffy costume. :3

Personal Thoughts:

I fell in love with Love Live! the moment I saw it as it first showed up on Crunchyroll. Adorable girls and adorable friendship and even cuter music will always hook me 100%. I've been wanting to do pretty much every costume from the show and the game, but I wanted to make something pretty comfy and chill to offset some of the more wild things I may be doing along side it. Eli's fox was perfect for that and I loved the look of it.
