Another costume that turned out well and I was sad to sell, but poverty does that to you. I'm too old for school fukus anyway. ^^

Personal Thoughts:

Constructed: March 2001 Time: 10 hours Yes, yes, I know. Everybody and their dog has made an EVA school uniform. Why tread again upon the same ground that has been tread upon so often that it now has a rut worn in it? Because I wanted to. ;-P This was going to be a Rei Ayanami costume, but several facts turned it into an Asuka costume. One, wigs cost money. Two, I don't like them anyway. And three, I have Asuka's hair already. The patterns, fabric, shoes and socks were already on hand, so this costume was really easy. I did have to custom-dye the cotton fabric for the jumper. Her hair "plugs" I cast from latex, and glued a clip to the underside. Other than that, it's just a matter of hair-styling and loads of attitude! Now if only I could find myself a good-looking Kaji cosplayer to cling to... Tee-hee! ^_~ Photography by Ke'Tryk Manor. CG by me.
