Construction Details:

I started with a wooden rod and built on from there. The dome is made from a foam sphere. I covered it with worbla, coated in gesso, sanded, primed, and painted it using a sponge brush to achieve that gem/ethereal quality. That part is sprayed with a high-gloss. The "cap" is painted foamies. The diamond shaped parts of the rod are foam discs, carved down to the proper shape, coated in a layer of paper clay, sanded, primed, and painted. The q-tip shape at the end is model magic, coated in paper clay, sanded, primed and painted. All the details on the rod that pop out are foamies. The rest of the road is sprayed with a semi-matte spray.

Personal Thoughts:

I loved the design of this one the most.
