Construction Details:

I waited until the last minute to start this costume because I was still desperately trying to finish Elsa and Sophitia in time for DragonCon. So 3 days before the con, I picked up the pattern I had started for a bunny suit the year before, thinking everything would go perfectly smoothly. It did not, and 3 mock-ups later, I finally started cutting out my final suit, only to have to cut out the pieces twice because my pattern somehow got too small. Then my white front pieces got stained on the ironing board. Then my interfacing failed me. You get the picture. I definitely need to revisit this pattern to find out why everything went so horribly wrong. I also need to address the bizarre crotch pulling issues, because there's nothing more unattractive on a bunny suit than unfortunately placed crotch folds...

Personal Thoughts:

Originally, Riki had the brilliant idea to cosplay sexy Elmer Fudd at DragonCon so she could be a foil to the myriad of bunnygirls at DC every year. But as soon as I heard her genius plot, I had to write myself into it. Thus, the idea of "Bugs Bunnygirl" was born. We then roped in Monika to join us as Daffy Duck.
