About this Costume
Construction Details:
Blazer fabric is a powder blue bengaline suiting, and is fully lined in muslin. The pocket welts are the same twill as the skirt, and the lower pockets are functional. Skirt is knife-pleated and made from a navy poly/cotton twill and closes with an invisible zipper. Wig was purchased from eBay, straightened using hot water, and rooted with brown sharpie. Button-down was thrifted, bow made from fabric scraps and ribbon.

Yokomon is made from pink fleece using a self-drafted pattern. She's weighted down with BBs to give her a bit more substance (and also allows her to sit on my head~) The yellow tendrils are satin; the orange is more fleece and is wired. The leaves are hand painted twill and wired to allow me to shape them. The eyes are painted and appliqued on.

Digivice commissioned from Chinook Crafts (https://www.etsy.com/shop/ChinookCrafts), and Crest was purchased from Miyuka (http:/etsy.com/shop/shiny-things-by-miyuka)

Personal Thoughts:
I am a big enough piece of Digimon weeaboo trash that I made this cosplay based on the very first promo poster. Like, before any actual information was released. And I am not sorry in the least.

This show was such a big part of my childhood and it makes my heart very happy to finally have a cosplay for it.
