Construction Details:

All of the black is done in stretch sateen, which is one of my absolute favorite fabrics ever to work with <3 The white parts and the pants are all linen. The purple is a jersey knit and lines the tabbard as well as the cape. All of the green trim is hand-made satin bias tape and the finishing was all done by hand with a slip stitch.

All of the buttons on the blouse/pants are functional, though the pant legs are sewn together below the buttons to help with shoving them into boots. They're wrap pants of a sort--the green has an elastic waistband and then the tan has a button waistband that closes in the front.

The hat band, cape band, and belt were all done in vinyl with gold acrylic for detailing. For the belt, I made the the designs out of 5mm foam on a 3mm foam base, and then covered the whole thing with the vinyl; it has grommets and laces up in the back. The hat armor is made out of worbla, and the vambraces are craft foam with hot glue detailing.

Everything was self-drafted or draped on my dressform.
