Construction Details:

The skirt ended up being more complicated than I originally set out to do. I used plastic boning in the waistband to help hold its shape a bit. Getting the pleats to lay nicely was a pain, but they turned out alright in the end.

The shirt I made by modifying a standard button up pattern. The coat is also just modified from a commercial pattern. I winged it on the scarf. I'd like to eventually find fabric in a different shade to use for it.

Personal Thoughts:

I was on the fence with making her casual outfit until I saw her coat in the new Unlimited Blade Works. I thought it was adorable and had to make it. This outfit is a lot more comfortable to wear compared to a lot of my costumes!

Styling Notes

I had to put a lot of work into it to get it to fit my head better. Still, I don't know if I have a strange hairline, but it does not cover my temples very well, so I will be modifying that now too. Overall, it's a nice wig, but there's too much modifying to do. The bun I made out of buckram with wig fibers sewn and hair sprayed into place. The braid is sewn into place around the edge.
