Construction Details:

The top was made with the idea that the lapel would be removable so that a sequenced lapel could be added on later (an idea I thought the movie had done since the girls changed outfits so much). The original skirt was made with 16 panels but was then later upgraded to 24. There are plans to re-make the hat (which I hate TERRIBLY) and lapel as well as making a proper petticoat for the skirt.

Personal Thoughts:

After watching Captain America I thought 'hey, I did the Ironettes, why don't I do a USO dancer too?!' and I did! The first version was all patterned by myself. I fixed the skirt up later and it ended up being a costume I'm very proud of simply because of the construction!
