Construction Details:

This was the first costume I drafted completely from scratch. I wanted the bodice to fit like it does in the movie and I couldn't find anything remotely similar so I drafted the pattern myself. The dress is made entirely of leftover fabric I had lying around that just happened to be perfect - white linen from my mom, teal cotton from my Coronation Elsa and dark teal from an old elementary school play costume.

Personal Thoughts:

I begged my mom for this dress as a little girl. To me it was the epitome of elegance and sophistication. Being able to finally see this cosplay come to life was indescribable. And to get the designer Steven Gordon's stamp of approval brought everything full circle and made the little girl inside of me very happy XD

Styling Notes

This was a skintop wig I bought because the pic on eBay looked perfect but when I got it I found the part was exactly centered not to the side like I'd thought so I re-parted it and styled the swoop.
