Construction Details:

The leotard is black spandex. There are seam details on the chest and stomach overstitched following Supergirl's design (I forgot to do the sleeve details on Claire's suit so I omitted them on mine as well). The cape attaches to the suit and itself. The logo was hand-stitched on in silver stretch leather.

Personal Thoughts:

I had just completed a New 52 Supergirl for Claire De Lune and was looking for a 4th cosplay for SDCC when I had the idea to bring one of my favorite storyarcs from the Supergirl comic to life as though it had taken place in the New 52 series. I took the colors from the Batman/Superman/Supergirl Dark Supergirl design and the suit design from the New 52 Supergirl and blended them to create my own take on Black Kryptonite Supergirl.

Styling Notes

I purchased a platinum blonde bob wig off eBay. It needed very little styling - mostly a trim on the bangs, a little hairspray and teasing.
