About this Costume
Construction Details:
I used an old corset that I made in the past. I used a variety of different (and one main style) sequins. I cut the sides of the sequins to create the correct shape and glued individually down onto the corset with e6000 glue. I added rectangle shaped rhinestones (very stupid expensive) and multi shaped circle rhinestones to the corset.rnrnI used a gray sequin fabric for the shirt. I used tinier shiny rhinestones that matched the corset. I wanted everything to shine correctly.rnrnI then used a aquamarine skirt. I used left over sequins that weren't cut (or was) and glued them onto the skirt. I also used a small amount of smaller sized sequins to help evening out the skirt. I wanted to create the gradient that the skirt has. The skirt also is cut to have a train as well.rnrnFor the cape I used an ice blue organza. I then proceeded to use glitter glue all over the thing. for the front parts I did use a pattern. for the back pieces I decided just to add random snowflakes everywhere.rnrnI bought clear jelly shoes for her shoes. They work rather well actually.rnrnI got a pre styled wig from ebay for 10 dollars.
Personal Thoughts:
Jesus. Why did I need something shiny. I've already done several ice costumes before!

When I first put on the wig.. I thought. HOLY SHIT WHEN DID I BECOME TAN?! I think my dark hair makes me lighter than what I really am.

My skirt is too big. I need to make it fit better. I'll retake my photos sometime.
